Public Open Space Masterplan
Construction for the future park will commence later this year and completion is expected early autumn 2026.

Plan is not to scale and images are for illustrative purposes only; all are subject to change.

Indicative playground design
The playground area has been designed as an extension of the neighbouring retained trees which are the focal point for the estate.

The design focuses on creating a series of inviting, nature-inspired play spaces that cater to people of all ages and abilities. These "landscape rooms" offer a variety of play experiences, encouraging exploration, imagination, and connection with nature.

At the heart of the design is a special woodland area featuring mature eucalypts. This space will be brought to life with thoughtfully placed nature play elements that can be enjoyed from both inside the woodland and along its edges.

Key features of the space include:
-
Play areas designed around nature-based themes
-
Large flat turf area for ball games and exercise
-
Accessible pedestrian and cycle paths connecting different zones
-
Lookout points with views of the landscape
-
Grassed amphitheatre
-
Woodland walkway
-
20m flying fox
-
Electric BBQ
Many of the play elements are intentionally unstructured, encouraging child-led play and free exploration. The space is designed for a range of age groups, offering challenges through varied surfaces, levels, and textures; focusing on reconnecting with nature.
The overall style will feel organic and natural, using materials like boulders, stepping stones, wooden poles for play structures, and plants with diverse colours and textures.

Plan is not to scale, elements are correct at time of publication, images are for illustrative purposes only. All are subject to change.
